Mayor Recognizing Officers in Alleged Serial Killer Case

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio ? East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton plans to hold a town hall meeting Monday to recognize officers involved in the recent alleged serial killer case.

The bodies of Shirellda Terry, 18, Shetisha Sheeley, 28, and Angela Deskins, 38, were all found recently near Hayden and Shaw avenues in East Cleveland. Michael Madison, 35, is facing three counts of aggravated murder in their deaths.

Norton said he?ll introduce and recognize the East Cleveland police officers and detectives who helped capture Madison. The meeting is also meant to help with the healing process for victims? families.

The public is invited to speak and thank the officers themselves. The town hall meeting will be 6:30 p.m. at Helen S. Brown Senior Center, 16200 Euclid Ave.
