Minimum Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Engineering Licensed Architect and recognized expertise in broadcast or media facilities design Minimum of 15 years experience in Architectural Practice with diverse engagement across all phases of project pursuit and delivery. Broad experience in architectural and interior workplace design is essential. Candidate should have strong client management skills, experience in preparing responses to RFP's, and experience with contract negotiation within the context of an Architectural/Engineering practice. The role requires some travel and very strong organizational, communication and managerial skills. Candidate should also possess acumen in business development, business planning and overall strategic thinking. Ability to manage, cultivate and motivate staff with broad expertise and diverse work styles is also required. Candidate must be strongly self-motivated but must also work effectively in teams and with senior management. Must have valid drivers license.

Job Description:
URS is seeking to fill a Program Manager position with an experienced architect who will direct, manage and grow opportunities with broadcast, newspaper and other high-tech digital architecture opportunities within the Facilities Business Line. The position requires the candidate to play a principal role in developing new business, maintaining existing client relationships and leading an experienced staff of managers, architects and engineers on all projects in the applicable practice areas. The Program Manager shall develop a strategic framework for growth and success, providing financial oversight and team leadership in so doing. The Director of the Facilities Business Line as well as URS Administrative, Accounting, Business Development and Marketing resources are all available to advise and assist in these efforts. From time to time the Program Manager shall manage specific projects while fulfilling duties related to the overall management and development of the applicable practice areas. The Program Manager shall directly supervise core staff and report to the Director of the Facilities Business Line. URS offers a collaborative working environment and resources to offer full services to a wide array of clients. Other duties as assigned.
