How do I contact investors for an internet business idea ...

I?ve been working on an internet business proposal for quite some time, and I have the basis for the business model. This is a complete start-up, so I need some financial backing. I?m really not sure how to go about finding investors. I?ve heard of angel investors, venture capitalists, and others. Any suggestions on how I can acquire some investments? And what exactly are these people looking for? Thanks.

They?re looking for a complete business plan, not the basis for one. They?re also looking for an experienced professional to run the business.
