After the Microbrewers Festival, we walked over to the new 10-01 restaurant on Broad Ripple Ave. I think it had been open three weeks or so at the time we went. We got there around 7. It was very busy, although that was to be expected considering the time. We were told it would be about an hour wait, but we put our names in and made ourselves comfortable in the lower level bar. In addition to local beers on tap, the lower level offered a mix of appetizers and small plate items. Our wait was about an hour, but it went by very quickly.
The service was great, and we ordered two items off the menu. We had the creamy spinach artichoke dip and the flatbread pizza (which definitely had a nice, spicy kick).
Once we got upstairs, our food came fairly quickly. I?m a sucker for a pretzel bun, so I ordered the pulled chicken with sweet potato fries. The fries were perfect ? well seasoned and crispy. Michael had the portobello sandwich with humus, so needless to say I did not try it. Lisa had the spinach salad and mac and cheese. Both tasty, and we probably ended up eating as much of the mac and cheese as Lisa.
All in all, a good experience. It?s great to see another place open in Broad Ripple with outdoor seating and late hours.
